Easiest way is to click the “Book with Me” button on the top right of the website. Submit that form and I will repond via email as soon as I am able!
If you prefer, you may also email me directly at LewisSommervilleTattoos@gmail.com

For custom work, I currently charge $120 per hour. You will only be charged for when we’re getting work done. Not for breaks, setup, etc. I will do my absolute best to give you as accurate an estimate as I can before you come in!
Flash and pre-drawn designs are all flat rate. Let me know which piece you’d like and an approximate size, and I’ll give you a price up front.
-
Yes, generally. I typically require an $80 deposit in order to hold your spot and begin designing your piece. This is not an additional charge - it will go toward the final price of the tattoo (e.g. if you drop an $80 deposit and the final price of the session is $200, you will only owe $120 on the day of your appointment).
I prefer deposits to be made over the shop phone, but Venmo is another option as well. We will go over this via email!

I generally do not work in color. However, I am open to doing tattoos with limited color, and am able to work with you to find something you love if that is what your prefer.
I recognize that I have a niche style, but I am absolutely always open to exploring other styles and ideas. Don’t be afraid to ask.
I will NEVER perform a tattoo that contains hateful or prejudiced imagery or text.
-
Depends! This is a case-by-case basis. Engraving-styled tattoos aren’t paticularly suited to covering up existing pieces. Heavily shaded blackwork tattoos would be a much better option, which I would be open to doing.
If you are interested in a cover-up, you can still book the same way, just let me know. I’ll need a clear image of the existing piece, and may even need you to come in for an in-person consultation.
-
Absolutely. I strongly urge my clients to let their piece heal for a couple months before considering touch-ups. If you find that there are some areas that got light during the healing process, I will touch up the piece at no cost for the first year. Just shoot me an email and I’ll get you in as soon as I can.

Get a solid nights rest the night before. Eat and ensure you are hydrated before coming in, especially for longer sessions. Tattoos are hard on the nervous system - it helps to have some fuel in you. You are also more than welcomed to bring a snack with you. I usually keep protein bars on me too if you forget.
Don’t worry about shaving the area prior- I will take care of that.
Wear comfortable clothes that allow access to the area being tattooed. I recommend a sweatshirt or sweatpants too - we keep the shop pretty chilly, even in the summer.
Feeling sick before the appointment? Let me know! We can always move your deposit to a later date, and I’d much prefer not to get sick.

You are absolutely welcomed to bring a buddy. However, out of respect for other artists and clients in the shop, please do not bring more than one other person along with you. I also request that you do not bring children to the shop.

Unfortunately, I cannot promise that I can get your design to you ahead of time. Tattooing keeps me very busy, and I end up doing much of my drawing in my free time outside of work. I humbly ask that you respect my time and trust that I will work to design something you love. We can always make minor changes the day of, no big deal.
If you want any major changes to the design prior to the appointment, please let me know at least 48 hours in advance. This will give me time to re-draw. Otherwise, we may have to reschedule and the deposit may be subject to forfeiture.
Have a question that wasn’t answered here? No problem, just shoot me a quick DM, email, or call the shop!
